New to TONIC?

  • Please pre-register for class online prior by following the link below.

  • Please arrive early enough to class to check in and setup your practice area.

  • No shoes in studio space as we practice Yoga in bare feet.

  • Yoga mats and props are available to borrow.

  • Please silence or turn off your cell phone.

  • Please be responsible for your body and respect any physical limitations.

  • We encourage beginners to take our Beginner’s Yoga Series or Private Instruction.

  • We encourage Private Instruction if you have an injury or physical limitations that prevent you from safely practicing in a public class.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Alignment Yoga Slow paced class with emphasis on foundations and alignment with the usage of props to access postures. Good for beginners and athletes and accessible for stiffer bodies.

Anusara Yoga Heart centered and Alignment based practice that weaves posture, breath, awareness and intention to balance body, mind and spirit drawing from both Classical Yoga and Tantra.

Ashtanga Yoga A series of dynamic postures done in swift succession, combined with deep controlled breathing, drawn from eight limbs of Classical Yoga. Full Primary- not recommended for beginners.

Hatha Yoga + Meditation Slow and mindful paced practice that covers the foundations with yoga postures, breath practices, meditation and philosophy.

Iyengar Yoga Slow paced practice with an emphasis on alignment, anatomy and subtle body exploration with the usage of props to access postures. Appropriate for beginners and for stiffer and/or aging bodies.

NIA Dance Combines elements of dance, martial arts, and healing arts to create a holistic mind-body workout.

Slow Flow Yoga Stretch, strengthen and unwind with a slower-paced vinyasa style practice with longer holds and room to breathe.

Sacred Flow Yoga A complete practice of asana, pranayama, bhanda, mantra and meditation/nidra drawing from the ancient wisdom of Classical Yoga, Tantra and Ayurveda.

Tonic Dance Ecstatic dance based in the 5 Rhythms designed to promote physical, mental, emotional and spiritual integration for optimal wellbeing through guidance along with space for somatic and free movement.

Restorative Yoga Accessible practice to all levels and abilities that includes resting in postures with the use of props to encourage deep relaxation and stretching.

Vinyasa Yoga A vigorous and dynamic flow of yoga postures strung together with the breath in a creatively crafted sequence.

Yoga Nidra Discover deep inner peace with a guided systematic process of relaxation.

Yoga Therapeutics  Therapeutic application of postures and breath explored designed to optimize physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health through yogic and ayurvedic principles.
